California Transplant Services is proud to announce that our brand new Arizona eye and tissue donor recovery and conference facility located in Phoenix, Arizona in now open and staffed. Construction took a while, but we have finally settled in. All of our Arizona Transplant Services employees are certified by the American Association of Tissue Banks as Certified Tissue Bank Specialists.  The Phoenix staff have collectively over 65 years of eye and tissue banking experience.  We are conveniently located next to Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport. Our staff has begun donor eye and tissue recoveries, and successful transplants have already taken place!

We look forward to participating with this community in the recovery and transplant of eligible eye and tissue donors. We will be working with a national research tissue distribution agency and directly with several approved researchers to facilitate tissue for research and education for those donors who may not meet the criteria for transplant.

California Transplant Services has been providing transplant tissue to the Arizona community for many years. Tendons and ligaments for sports injuries have been utilized at Banner Health, skin for burn injuries at Maricopa County Medical Center and corneas and other eye tissues for surgeries at the University of Arizona Medical Center and the VA Medical Center in Tucson.
